Health System Recruitment Campaign
Project
Having been dissatisfied with prior list sources, our client's Manager of Strategic Marketing found herself looking for a list provider who could help her identify key prospect attributes and demographic criteria that could be used to secure a robust prospect list for her recruitment campaign message.

Strategy
The Manager of Strategic Marketing turned to Printegration’s Business Development Manager, John Fechino, to help her determine the lifestyle criteria she needed to create a prospect list comprised of women who met the following parameters:

• Lived within the area (50 mile radius)
• Belonged to households having incomes greater than $50,000
• Were considered active, health conscious, and the primary healthcare decision maker for themselves and their families.

Once the list of 15,000 prospects was purchased, Printegration managed the fulfillment and mailing of 45,000 mailers (three phased mailings to each of the 15,000 names).

Results

Our client experienced a phenomenal response. Having done similar direct mail campaigns, they were accustomed to considering a 4% response rate as “successful.” In the case of this campaign mailing, our client was able to attribute an internet response of 4,705 unique individuals (or 64.92% of those who visited the site) as verified by the the use of the URL which appeared only in the mailers and in four ads.

More telling, of the 2,400 women who joined the campaign club during the first six weeks, 2,190 of them indicated that they found out about the club as a direct result of having “received a brochure in the mail.” This response, when divided by the 15,000 list our client purchased and fulfilled through Printegration, yields a direct mail conversion rate of 14.6%. Our client commented that the 64.92% and 14.6% response rates constituted “rates of success (she) had frankly never heard of.”

In a letter to Printegration's President, Richard Godsey, our client went on to remark:
