Printegration was asked to create a marketing plan to quickly and efficiently introduce and distribute a line of products to shops across the country.

Strategy
Printegration devised the marketing strategy as well as provided all copywriting and design services for the carrier box, VDP brochure (which included full personalization and a PURL), the PURL landing page and survey.

Fulfillment responsibilities included assembly and packaging of the displays, variable data digital printing and matching of personalized brochures, market specific price cards and consumer usage instructions. Each package was sent and tracked via FEDEX delivery.

Printegration was able to distribute packages to 6,298 shops as identified by our client's database within a three week period. Printegration also surveyed recipients to determine whether they would be willing to carry the product line. And, in addition to daily shipping reports, Printegration tracked survey responses and periodically reported results to our client.

Actual Response Rate: 13.23% (or 730 responses)

Printegration was able to remain on budget and still produce a response rate twice as high as anticipated.

Our client was able to introduce and distribute the product line and new display to 6,298 shops across the country within a three-week period. Best of all, each merchant received a personalized package that communicated, on an individual basis, including suggested pricing that reflected each shop's individual market price point.

By offering four different ways to respond to the survey (BRC, PURLs, telephony inbound and telephony outbound), Printegration was able to generate an impressive 13.23% response rate. In an age when anything over a 2% direct mail response rate is considered admirable, 13.23% is an extraordinary achievement. The value of the responses provides insight into how the targeted market currently views our client's product line. Furthermore, the information gathered serves as a benchmark from which to gauge the influence of future marketing efforts.
