Printegration Installs Karat 74 Digital Offset Press
Richmond, August 15, 2005 - Printegration is pleased to announce the recent installation of a 74 Karat digital offset press with inline aqueous coater. The Karat uses a waterless process to produce consistent, high-quality color with minimal start-up time. Importantly, the waterless process is environmentally friendly; eliminating the need for toxic wash solutions and reducing paper spoilage by as much as 40%. The Karat's unique inking system prints beautiful, rich solids on a large selection of coated, premium and uncoated stocks. Additionally, the inline aqueous coater allows printed jobs to move immediately to Printegration's in-house finishing and mailing departments.

"There were a number of features that really grabbed our attention and influenced the decision to choose the Karat 74," according to Rick Godsey, president of Printegration. "The environmentally friendly waterless process, the dazzling print quality and quick turnaround time were key in our decision making. The Karat revolutionizes printing and allows Printegration to offer incredible print to mail solutions for even our most demanding clients."

Printegration will be offering discounts to introduce the Karat to the Central Virginia market. Printegration is recognized as Virginia's print to mail expert; fully integrating offset and digital printing with full service, in-house mailing capabilities. Printegration employs almost 50 employees in Henrico County, and plans to increase its workforce by 10% by year end.
